

London: Last Day and Heading Home!
Our last full day in London started off early with a walk to our favorite neighborhood breakfast spot Dan & Decarlo (which still seems to be open as of 2026!). After that we headed to the tube towards the city. Tashia didn't note it in her travelogue, but there was one day that we took the tube at rush hour and it was a rather uncomfortable, though short-lived, look into what it would be like to live here day in and day out, as opposed to our star-eyed tourist view. London: "Final Blogs"
After the previous day’s travels, we slept in until 9am to ease our way out of the flat by 10am. This time, it was on the tube to head to Oxford Circus. We started the day with a walk to and through the Handel and Hendrix Museum. While this was not my cup of tea completely, the information was interesting and the house was pretty neat. Bryan enjoyed the history and we got some great photos!
